Katharine Hepburn Online opened on June 23th 2008, after spending over 3 months on the drawing board, and after I spent two years researching this fascinating woman.
Yes, I did pretty much go crazy during those two years. I believe I once even proclaimed while drinking my third latte that day that she (Katharine Hepburn) was not a normal human. She was part alien and part super-human. While I still kind of hold his philosophy (movie stars aren't human; they're freaks of nature) I'm less hasty with flinging it about.

My main reason for devoting so much time to opening a site was the astonishing lack of information on the internet about Kathy (I know how hard it is to read a book about somebody you're not even sure you like, but want to more about). And, what little info there is isn't always correct or neatly worded. I just want to fill a void, because Kath was an amazing woman, who certainly deserves to be appreciated on the internet.
